Good morning ! I was wondering when exactly you placed your toters curbside??

We placed the cans out at the curb Wednesday evening.

Thank you so much for your truthful and timely response. Your trash and recycling was not missed. Your pick up day is on Wednesday. I understand that this week it fell on a holiday! I am going to assume that you did not realize that we work on all holidays with the exception of Christmas day and New Years day. If you knew you would have taken it out on Tuesday night as you normally would. We did go by your residence on your scheduled pick up day (Wed Morning) however it was not on the curbside to pick up for you. I am willing to come by personally and take your garbage as long as it is clean and in bags. In regards to the recycling that is a different department and I will bring it to there attention. How does that sound??

The trash is not bagged and can wait a week. Thank you for the offer. The recycling bin is full and i appreciate you reporting that to the recycling department. Now i know.

And the trash is bagged. In not that much of a savage. Just not exactly clean as other debris was added. 😁

I am glad I see this ....we live around the corner from the person reporting on Dexter Dr. Bpt and we did not put out our cans Tuesday night for wed. morning pick up bc we thought it was a holiday and then my next door neighbor told us he did and it was collected.....I didn't realize holidays were only2... I think many residents in my area thought the same as me bc there were not all put out......will be a really smelly can when they get picked up next week.......lol.......maybe that is something that could be included in any city mailing like tax bills of the two holidays only......

All of the information is located on the city website bridgeportct.gov and go to sanitation/recycling . I agree there should be a mailer for the residence every year and that is something I will certainly bring up in our upcoming meeting. We work every holiday except Christmas day and New Years day... Spread the word!!!

Did it used to be all the major holidays the garbage was collected the following day if it was on your scheduled day?
