Your request regarding parks has been closed. If the trees you are referring are in Duwamish Hill Preserve, they will be left in this condition for a few years for the trees to completely die and then will be cut down. The stumps will be left on site and add to the natural landscape. If it's the Duwamish Gardens, the trees that are there were cut with a machete and are in the natural area. Staff visited the trees and gave them a clean cut in hopes that new growth bud out around the part of the vandalized.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep Tukwila a great place to live, work and visit!
