Description
On July 3rd Kettle Corn person had their set up between the gardens that was were worked on over the Spring by Generous Gardeners. They left behind a oil spill on the walkway between the gardens. This is the second year in a row that he has done this. Please have the area stream cleaned or something. I do not think people should have to look at this oil spot in front of gardens. I have donated to Generous Gardeners to help make Gloucester beautiful, not to have a business person stain it and walk away.

They did not completely remove the stain.
I am attaching a new picture after the DPW worked on the stain.
There must a way of removing the stain.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sent a crew out immediately after this was reported. Unfortunately, we were not aware of this issue and a week had passed and the oil has seeped into the concrete. Various cleansers, including graffiti remover were used and speedy dry put down to try to absorb the oil.
Will discuss with the Ops Manager in the morning.

I spoke to Susan Kelly of Generous Gardeners and she seem to think that the DPW could solve the problem. I suggested to her that if they could not resolve it, then maybe we could put the logo of the Generous Gardeners on the top of the oil spot. She thought that was a good idea. It would save the city from time, money and it would look beautiful.
