When Traffic Signal/Pedestrian Signal is chosen the following appears
NOTE: If there is a problem with a Traffic Signal, please call the Transportation, Traffic and Parking Department directly at (203) 946-8075 between 9 am and 5 pm, M -F or call the New Haven Police Department after hours or on weekends at (203) 946-6316.
This should have been called in, then posted to alert others and have a record it was called in.
It has been at least six hours since this was posted and the city has yet to acknowledge this.
Is the reason why safety issues are not called in is because people have a fear of talking on the phone?
This was acknowledged about two weeks after it was posted, this is why safety issues must be reported by phone. You can then posted to alert others and have a record it was called in
