Description
Approaching from Hampshire St toward Beacon St, turning right onto Springfield St is dangerous for pedestrians. Vehicles are permitted to turn right (I have seen a city bus, numerous cars, and bicycles do this) while at the same time, the pedestrian light crossing Springfield St is activated. I have convinced myself a number of times that the turn is legal, considering there is no signage to prevent it, and even google maps suggests this as a route. I ask that the lights pattern be adjusted to prevent vehicles from turning onto Springfield St while the pedestrians are crossing and unaware that are car may come out from around the corner at speed.
