Hello any updates as this issue looks to be getting worse with the growth of the bushes

Hello can you please provide an update. Not sure why there seems to be a lack of urgency for this issue, now going on for almost 2 months. Kids are back to school and you can’t see around this corner if driving and now can’t walk down the sidewalk due to overgrown bushes. Understand this is stemming my from private property but it is now infringing on public space.

A request has been made for the property owners to cut back the vegetation at the sidewalk and at the corner. We requested the property owner to complete the work within 30-days. We will follow up if the work is not completed in that time line.

Frustrating and disappointing that 4 months later still no progress. Such a dangerous situation and no one being held accountable

Hello there is still no progress on this issue and you can’t walk down the sidewalk or see around the corner. 4 months in and not sure who to be more disappointed with, the town or homeowner.

I guess I’ll just have to keep posting until someone responds!!!!!!!

We apologize for the delay in responding to you. We have been in continual contact with the property owner through written and verbal communication in regards to the over growth from their side yard. We have suggested to the owner that they completely remove the vegetation so that it will not be a continuing problem. They are scheduling their contractor to either significantly cut back the bushes or completely remove and replace with something less invasive; we expect it to happen this month. Through our discussion timelines were set to allow them to do so before the town takes a forceful approach.

The property owner has taken some steps by removing vegetation at the corner that was interfering with site distance issues and partially obstructing the ramp.

With the spring season upon us the bushes on the corner are once again impeding the view around the corner. My guess still not complying with code

Situation has not improved. Why has this not been addressed and who needs to be involved to escalate this issue

Wow unbelievable that this issue is still open. Even in winter foliage is still obstructing the view. This is a clear violation of rules governing corner lots and need to be addressed
