Description
There needs to be more oversight and action taken to the homeless population that are continuing to settle along Bartlett Park and Fourth Street (and the park on the other side of 18th avenue south). I do appreciate St. Pete's acceptance and tolerance to homeless populations and understand it is a difficult issue to manage. However, as downtown continues to develop, and more of the homeless populations get pushed south, the areas and parks along fourth street are getting trashed. More and more people are moving into these neighborhoods every day, and we cannot just sweep the homeless population to the south with no control. I do not see any issue with people residing in these parks. But the trash and garbage they are leaving behind is unacceptable. Please either closely monitor these populations and what they're doing, or ensure they are kept up so that the residents of St. Pete can enjoy these areas.
