Description

My husband was walking past the travel agency after picking up bagels to go- and he tripped and fell pretty badly. His hand, both knees and elbow were scraped and bloody. I did call 911. My husband is 2 months post heart transplant. We are hoping he did not damage his chest which he is under precaution not to put too much pressure on while he heals especially the first 12 weeks. He did have to catch himself with his arms in front of him. he will have to have an exray to determine if there was any damage. Furthermore, if any of his wounds get infected -he is immune deficient due to his anti-rejection meds. I would say this is a pretty urgent issue that needs to be taken care of. The rise in the sidewalk is pretty significant. One of the travel agency employees came out and said he was the second person that day that tripped on it. I hope you can take case of it soon so no one else is injured. There are quite a lot of elderly folks around with walkers etc.
