I agree 100% with this request. The only way you can pull out at times is if a friendly driver stops the traffic to allow you to pull out. A 3 way stop or a light are good alternatives, obviously one much cheaper than the next.

Dear Mike, please don't observe this at off peak hours and close it out. It's been a problem for YEARS and its recently amplified past 6 months. 7-9 am 5-7 pm. And Martin is right, only "safe" way to get out during this time is someone letting you, which his rare. Throw school back into this mixture and its going to be even more unsafe. Thank you!

Thanks for your concern and suggestion. There is a safety project scheduled for this intersection later this year. I will send a copy of this SCF Item to Sgt Crawford at the Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Police Department. I have also discussed this with our Traffic Engineering Superintendent this morning.

Thank you Mike. This is great news! Is N. Coleman and Pine Grove getting one too? Agree letting public know would be good - people on Nextdoor are complaining (rightfully so) about speeding and traffic in this area, letting them know the City is on it might bring some relief.

The signal at N Coleman and Woodstock was mentioned in the City's budget, but once we get closer it will be advertise more. We will look at the Pine Grove end after installation and evaluate the need for a project there. Mike 770-594-6245
