Description

Large homeless encampment along Alameda Ave near Fruitvale Ave. Homeless people have set up tents and there are also homeless people living in camper vehicles and regular cars. Huge amounts of garbage and various other debris are strewn all throughout the encampment and all over the surrounding area. Homeless encampment is blocking the sidewalk. Homeless people are harassing folks trying to walk down the sidewalk or use the waterfront trail. Garbage and debris is spilling out into the traffic lanes. Homeless people are walking in the street and running across the street causing a hazard to themselves and drivers. Residents are intimidated from using the waterfront path.
