Description
I frequently ride my bicycle down Fallon straight, through this perpendicular one way street, into Oak.
The one way street may be Fallon, but I'm not sure. The county assessor maps are unclear.
In any case, there should be a street sign where this street intersects Oak St

This is from California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
CAMUTCD2014_rev3 says that there should be street name signs at each intersection.
Section 2D.43 Street Name Signs (D3-1 or D3-1a)
Guidance:
01 Street Name (D3-1 or D3-1a or G7-1(CA)) signs (see Figure 2D-10 and 2D-10(CA)) should be installed in urban
areas at all street intersections regardless of other route signs that might be present and should be installed in
rural areas to identify important roads that are not otherwise signed

I received an email from OAKDOT today, saying that they will not put up the street name sign.
The pdf of the letter is unsigned, though it came from Keith Schuerholz
Keith's phone is not allowing messaging, so I left a message with his manager, Michael Ford.
I also sent an email response.
