Description

The photograph is of the Balduck Park sledding hill and parking lot. On the hill there are two lights that were installed over year and a half ago. At the moment only one of the two lights is burning. I have made several calls to the Recreation Department as well as sending a photograph with this application. If one goes over to the parking lot near the resently renovated old warming house, there are light poles but no lights are working. The old warming house has lights around it but the parking lot is dark. The dark parking lot is used in the evening for other things. Anyone using the warming house for evening meetings would not have a safe place for people to park their cars there by discouraging people from attending meetings after dark (winter is a few short months away). The recently renovated warming house then becomes a less viable asset to the community.
