Not my fault Matt Nemereson said to use see click fix because otherwise the City won't get the issue. I was told NOT to call in anything ...
You would think traffic & parking would have responded to this faster than a parking complaint, but its still out going on over a month.
Just proving the point that the City doesn't use this site and documenting for City liability when there's an accident..

Bottom line this was first reported on July 31 it is now September 9 and the city has yet to acknowledge the post. No matter what Mr. Nemereson said it is best to call in an issue then posted to alert others and have a record it was called in. Sometimes issue on this site may not be read or if they are it may take hours. In the case for example a stop sign down a delay in getting this corrected may be fatal. Mr. Nemereson I would like for you to respond to this post.

Dear Anonymous,
The city is set up to respond very quickly to life safety emergencies such as traffic lights that fail. We have a rapid response mechanism for things that must be addressed in a matter of hours and I believe a call to police, the mayor's line (946-8200) or TT&P will get someone out to fix a traffic condition ASAP.
More run of the mill neighbourhood quality of matters should be addressed to SCF, your Alders or to the proper neighbourhood specialists who can be reached through LCI.
TT&P, Parks & Rec and DPW get work orders directly from SCF. With 100 times more issues than people to deal with them, there is no perfect science for letting people know what is going on. What is certainly frustrating is that some things are assessed as not that urgent and will get triaged on a long list to get to soon or some day. At a minimum, you should be appraised when a problem is judged less important by a department head than you think it might be.
If you don't hear from someone when you use SCF, your Alder or LCI, please let me know so I can try to intervene.
I may not get it right everytime or explain things perfectly, but I'm always willing to learn and try to help better the next time.
Please tell me who you are or call me directly at 203-946-2366 or mnemerson@newhavenct.gov.
Thanks for caring some much about New Haven!
Matthew
