I live in the community near the field in question is and the mosquito issue is a big concern. There are a lot more of them out these days compared to last year. Not sure why the sprinklers need to be on when we are getting so much rain.

Community Park Maintenance assigned this issue to DRP - Turf/Irrigation Supervisor, Jamie Roell

The field in question had Bermuda installed, and needed to be flooded for the first ten days similar to a rice field. With that said we did learn that the rain sensor had failed for that field,and irrigation system. We have since taken care of the matter, and will monitor the system.
