I would like to know why the City is being negligent in addressing this issue? We have only lived here a short time, but it has been an issue since after we moved in. If I had known prior, we would not have purchased the property as we expected at least comparable city services that we had in Treasure Island with the same elevations and MUCH higher taxes in St Pete. The problem is far greater than sending a clearing truck crew as you have in the past. It is still an issue with every rainfall and if not addressed completely will become a negligent property flooding issue if we have a considerable event with a closer passing tropical storm. Please communicate with us and let us know what the plan is to address this issue to coincide with our reasonable expectation that our storm sewers will at least handle normal and customary summer pop up storm runoff conditions as well as give our property a fighting chance in extreme conditions.

Update from Stormwater Department: The outfall is clogged - Stormwater is chipping away a little at a time until a contractor is decided on and is able to complete. Stormwater was at the outfall on Wednesday 9/5/18 and will be back on Friday 9/7/18.
