Description
This part of the road between Market street and Martin Luther King Highway needs to be repaved. There are pot holes that are so deep that you have to move to the side of the road to avoid them. There is a little patch work that has been done but that is not enough. This is also causing wear and tear on vehicles in this area. Please help.

Roads in the unincorporated area of the county are either public or private. In all North Carolina counties, public roads in unincorporated areas are maintained by the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The exception is private roads that have not been handed over to the NCDOT. These roads are maintained by the owner, subdivision or Home Owners Association. To contact the NCDOT please call 341-0500.
