Description

Received a 2" cut into rear driver's side tire due to some type of very sharp object at Fuller Road / Memorial Drive intersection. Service Dept staff at Bob Pion confirmed.

I did not take a picture. Pion Service Department removed tire and called for a replacement tire.

Q. Please describe the issue
A. Stopped at the Fuller Street - Route 33 Memorial Drive Stop light. Upon green light proceeded taking a right onto Rt. 33 traveling North. Approximately5 - 8 yards on Rt.33 discovered issues with Driver's side rear tire. Immediately got into the right hand lane and travel safely into the Friendly's Parking Lot. Discovered the tire had approximately a 2 inch deep cut into the tire. Traveled through Aldi's lot to traffic light and traveled south to Bob Pion dealership. Service staff confirmed the deep cut into the tire. Could not be fixed and needed to be replaced. It cost $240.37.
