Description

E-Mailed Mr. Frederick w/o response, issue remains unaddressed/unresolved. 28th Ave N between 49th street and 51 street is one car wide, it is often busy with pedestrians, bike cyclists, pet walkers, and sight seers admiring the wildlife and the spring fed the lake. The city has been repeatedly asked to place caution signage, speed bumps, and reduced speed limit signs but the city has only seen fit to install one pedestrian/bikes sign west of 51 street on the corner of York Street where the road is two lanes wide, and where it is not visible to traffic turning onto 28th ave from 49th street, or 51 street, and of course where it did the least amount of good for anyone. The narrow section of this road, "between 49th street and 51st street", needs speed bumps, a reduced speed limit, pedestrian and or crossing signage, and on street parking restrictions in order to correct the safety issues.
