I noticed this dumping at least four days ago. It is not the first time. A little detective work would probably help identify the perpetrators (sometimes there are ownership clues at the scene). This area has been a favorite for dumpers for years. The fines for dumping are considerable. A candid camera at this site would be most useful. Raymond Smith

Thanks for your suggestions as there was another dumping there of tree limbs and debris recently as well, but was cleared out as it blocked the walking path. I will take a photo today.

I reported it to the Mayor’s office and they emailed the Parks Department. I read the two comments I already received from my posting and the suggestion that a camera be set up there to find the perpetrators.

I believe this is East Rock Park Road. This stuff has been there at least since last week. It's shameful that someone saw fit to dump such a large amount of unwanted items in a City park, never mind anywhere else! Public Works should acknowledge this and remove these items immediately.

We are closing older Illegal Dumping issues from 2018 in order to focus on current Illegal Dumping issues. Many of the older issues were addressed through our regularly scheduled collection but never closed. Other trash issues include Parks trash and/or litter situations which were resolved.
