We routinely perform roadside mowing along many areas of our road network, but thank you for bringing this particular road segment to our attention. Roadside mowing along Benfield Blvd near W. Benfield Rd is a part of Northern District’s regular roadside mowing schedule. This is done as a planned maintenance activity since our forces serve more than 6,800 County roads. The mowing cycle averages 2 to 4 times per year or on as needed basis for a safety issue. Inclement weather, equipment maintenance requirements and associated downtime, and responses to road cleanup emergencies can disrupt our planned work. We thank our customers for their understanding.
