ok when is something going to get done? its been years. he is moving crap around and now that E street got clearded of the grass he is moving buses, trailers, etc onto it. bus and other junk he had on street is now on E street between 89th & 90th ave. will the city do something!!!!

We are getting close, we need some one from the city to cut squatter s lock off the fence and haul this garbage away!

The City legally cannot do that. It is up to the property owner to do that. The city / code enforcement can fine them to they point that have to take action. This can be very time consuming and difficult to do. We have squatters in my neighborhood and its been on code enforcement desk for more than a year and the property owners refuses to do anything including paying there property taxes.

That's no help. Just adding to the ever growing list of abandoned and blighted properties in the dysfunctional Oakland's control. We have a old city fire house that city finally sold due pressure from the community to a restaurant a year ago and now they are mired in endless red tape.
