Description

There is a city owned and maintained street light on 8th St S (near the north corner of 8th St S and 9th Ave S) (NOT DUKE ENERGY!!!!!) that has been non-functional from nearly the day it was installed. There was a very troubling mugging with gun of a mother with her 6-year old child during in this very spot. The residents of that area have complained so many times but the City does nothing. There has even been a Bay News 9 segment on this exact spot due to the City's inaction. Today there is another report of an attempted crime at this very spot - AGAIN!! This light must be repaired now.
