On a separate SCF issue cars parked close to these crosswalks in downtown were mentioned. It prevents drivers and pedestrians from seeing each other. If DPW repaints the crosswalks it should be made clear that parking adjacent to crosswalks is not allowed. Flex posts or bike racks have been used in other cities to accomplish this in high traffic pedestrian areas.
