Deskripsyon

After 10 mins of rain, water reached center double line and didn't flow at all on Southside of 30th ave N between 1116 30th ave N & 1100 30th ave N Southside of road. Water sat in front of 1108 30th ave N reaching double center lines and expanded from alley and 11th street N south side of road. Cars started driving on north side of road in wrong lane as they traveled east towards mlk. The asphalt on this side near curb needs to be raised to help the water flow towards sewers. It seems 30th ave N between 16th street N and MLK might need to be looked at during a rain by higher management cause cars where at a stand still on 30th ave N approaching MLK also. I have pics and videos to show this occurrence it was bad flooding and not nice at all for being a newly paved road.

I'm at 917 30th and I know that rain came down hard and fast but flooding seems MUCH worse now. Nearly impassable around Sunset Grill.

Agree Jason! Hope you got pics? You can report your end too. I emailed the video to action@st.pete.org FLoods much more worse now since they paved asphalt. WATER was not flowing outside our house so hopefully they can add asphalt higher at our curb line. They will need to look at FLOW during a rain from 16th ave N to mlk. Project was to fix rain water runoffs

Agree nothing has been done on 30th ave N since this post 8-11-2018 and its mid OCTOBER now. What gives?

1108 30th ave N no longer has a standing water issue, however I have noticed other area of bike lanes have issues after rains. The daily street cleaning on 30th ave N is helping the cyclyists.

Engineering get in your truck during any rain and see that 30th ave N needs to be repaved please. Obviously the slope is wrong on 30th ave N from 16th street n until you get to MLK period. No excuses for this new problem cause you all screwed up on paving road with proper slope. Bottom line is a repave with a slop towards water would fix this instantly common sense just a little. This is a road hazard and we will never survive 2019 hurricane rain if not addressed.
