Urban Forestry checked the particular issue in regard to a single tree along Whisperwood Dr for prune/removal for sidewalk clearance. The tree in question was located and that section of Whisperwood Dr is St Petersburg road jurisdiction. Attached is a GIS map information verifying and also a sign is posted at the entrance to the subdivision indicates St Petersburg maintains the area as well. This particular tree was not pruned because it is not located in an area Pinellas County maintains. County maintenance does not begin until Feather Sound Dr and an Urban Forestry crew went through and pruned that area (Whisperwood Dr and Feather Sound Dr) specific to other See-Click-Fix reports that were submitted (4829711, 4829751, 4787755)
Please contact the City of St Petersburg Mayor’s Action Center for further updates. In the future, you may report a City of St Pete issue by using the following link: https://seeclickfix.com/st-petersburg.
