Description

When approaching the intersection from Bryant street and turning left, the traffic lights signal a green arrow and a solid green light. According to the MA RMV manual a green arrow, "means you may proceed and turn in the direction of the arrow. As long as a green arrow displays for your turning lane, pedestrians and ONCOMING VEHICLES SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR RED LIGHTS..."

In the case of this intersection, the oncoming traffic is not stopped by a red light, and this creates continual confusion as Bryant street cars beginning to turn left onto Eastern Ave, only to have oncoming traffic come zooming at them.

I propose either the green arrow indicator is removed, or the oncoming traffic faces a red light as long as the green arrow is on.
