Description

Very large, active hornet’s nest overhanging Lewis Street Park splash pad. It is hanging directly over the splash pad and is very active with lots of hornets coming and going. It is the large ball like thing in the top of the photo.

Call the parks department tomorrow because you do not when they may see this post and if someone is allergic to bee strings it can be fatal.

Be careful with bees even if you were not allergic to them in the past I think that can change. I know of someone who got strung and it was almost fatal. Hopefully this is taken care of soon.

Absolutely, though for the record these are not bees, but rather hornets or wasps.
