On Saturday, August 11th, I called the SPPD about a traffic accident when a vehicle hit the curb at the Southwest Corner of Newton Ave South and MLK South and took out the Crosswalk Sign. Police never showed up but they advised that they would contact someone as School was starting on Monday.

They drove up, they got out and went right to work. In less than 15 minutes they were done. Very efficient team and very good natured. THANK YOU.
Should make the 6 guys with shovels and 2 trucks taking an hour and a half to fill in an 18 inch pothole worry about their jobs.
