Is there a contact with Duke where I can get Status Updates?

ALSO... Less then TEN Days ago a 'Company' replaced all the light bulbs to the new 'HARSH' glare bulbs... Those nice folks 'Could' have reached out and took the vines down while they were there.

Yeah, I know... Not their job.

The only number we have is the main Duke Energy number which is 1-800-700-8744. The Inspector that I met said that he would place it under the pole number 154258. If there is anything else I can provide for you please let me know.

"... An Ounce Of Prevention..." Maybe the SP Fire Dept. should look at this?

Along with the "information provided previously" there is are photos showing there is NO LIGHT on that pole... Just Wires. So when Duke was notified... They came out and looked at the pole with a light on it... About TEN FEET from the pole in the photos.

On Friday, August 24, a third party contractor for Duke with his boom truck, stopped at the pole in question. Looked at "the Light Pole" and saw nothing wrong with it, then drove off. The pole in the photo does NOT have a light on it. Another qualified worker saying NMJ.

Okay, have spoken with Duke... The pole in question is NOT on their inventory list. It is NOT a Light Pole. I have been to their site, looked at their maps... This pole is NOT listed. They say the pole is used by Verizon/Frontier for Fios, along with other phone, internet and cable providers. The City of Saint Petersburg forces ALL of these providers with charging the customers with a Utility TAX. The city of Saint Petersburg has an entire workforce that does nothing but lawns, trees, vines, plants, shrubs, etc... Why can't the city just come out, remove the vines and shrubs from this pole?

Today, Sept 06, 2018, I again spoke with Duke... They don't know of Eric that CSR 1 spoke to on August 16th. Jennifer & Nicole Found the ticket in the system for pole but they have Pole # 154259. They are going to escalate this issue for ME and should have it cleaned up in a few days.

I want to thank CSR 1, who got the ticket put in. I want to thank Eric for putting in the ticket. I want to thank ALL those who followed through several times to make sure everyone was doing their job in a timely manner.

The vines have advanced.

By next Monday I will post a photo of pole without foliage.

UPDATE: Nick, from Duke foliage dept came out and physically looked at the pole on Monday, Sept 10. He said that the original work order put in on Aug 16 was somehow buried. He promised to get to this within the next 'few' weeks.

Well, a few weeks have come and gone... Nothing.

A year and almost 2 months have gone by... Nothing.
