Description
The fountain in Hamilton Park has standing water which can breed mosquitoes which is clearly unsafe and a health hazard. It took over two years to get the fountain repaired and it never seemed to run properly. However now it is not working and the base is full of water, which is very unsanitary.

BTW the HPNA and Hamilton Park Conservancy put chlorine tablets in the fountain weekly to discourage algae growth. That, with a running fountain, mosquitoes will not breed there. Mosquitoes are more likely breeding in little water filled holes in trees or in plant saucers in homes around the park, or standing water in the catchment basins.
