GREAT! Now I owe a friend 10 bucks because I made a bet that the fountain wouldn't last through the summer.

Water had been turned off in park for a couple of days due to a broken irrigation pipe.
BTW the HPNA and Hamilton Park Conservancy put chlorine tablets in the fountain weekly to discourage algae growth. That, with a running fountain, mosquitoes will not breed there. Mosquitoes are more likely breeding in little water filled holes in trees or in plant saucers in homes around the park, or standing water in the catchment basins.

It's been more than a couple of days. It was broken for over tow years so don't minimize this. It needs to be fixed. It should not break only a couple of months after being fixed

It just needs to be turned back on again.

I know about our park because I live here. I do not need to claim my greater self importance by pontificating to others. I just care about a park where I live. I don't claim to care about everything and then pick and choose my side as I see fit.
