Signal timing is way too short. Other drivers inclined to ignore the stop light to avoid waiting.

Q. What is your area of concern?
A. Timing - Traffic Signals.
A. Timing - Traffic Signals.
Q. Why is this a concern?
A. There are massive backups at this intersection on Shepherd all times of the day. Now I know why: the signal barely reaches 10 seconds before it turns red. After that, there is at least a minimum of 90 seconds of wait, if not longer, before to really long lines of traffic can move again. At the time that I witness this, two vehicles decided to blow the red light, nearly causing an accident with a driver making a legitimate right turn from Memorial Drive onto Shepherd. This signal needs to be equal in length to the other signals at this intersection, particularly since only one of the time is green.
