I agree. This property poses a health and safety hazard for the neighborhood. The derelict building should be removed, the weeds and grass cut, and the lot sold or confiscated by the town.

8/20/18- A notice of violation has been sent to the owner of the property (Gialluishi Homes) and a voicemail was also left with for them.

8/21/18- Spoke to Ben, an employee of Gialluishi Homes who stated he will have the property cleaned up by early next week.

I do hope that by « cleaned up » he doesn’t suggest simply cutting the grass. The trash and junk needs to be taken away and the house demolished before it turns into a crack house.

8/30/18- Thank you for your feedback. Currently, all health Code violations at this property have been addressed. Garbage pales, cinder blocks and other such items existing on the property do not constitute a health code violation and will be used during the construction process. Leftover cut grass on the lawn also does not constitute a health code violation.
This complaint will now be forwarded to the Building Department to ensure all construction permits for the property are active and valid.

I am concerned that there is no lock on the fence, which means that children or anyone else could have access to the property
