The sidewalk that's on Pine St along Life Haven side there's a few spots & as u go on Bright St from the sidewalkfrom Life Haven most of the sidewalks need to be repaired.

Request for repair forwarded to The Resource Allocation Committee.

It's terrible how long it takes to fix these sidewalks, while we have the handicap riding their wheel chairs in the street and kids jumping over holes on the sidewalks

This is still an issue I see a few people in wheel chairs that are riding them in the street on Pine St, because the sidewalk is terrible. The sidewalk has holes and has bumps due to trees roots that have caused this issue.The sidewalk is along Life Haven side on Pine St. and the sidewalk in Bright St as go down from Pine St.

If something goes to Resource Allocation Committee, it will get buried.. Call your alder. Get others to call in & keep this issue alive. I do not know when Resource Allocation meets, but it might be beneficial if someone shows up at one of their meetings. If all else fails call the news outlets & get publicity for this issue. The powers that be hate bad publicity.

Angelika, I spoke to Kenneth over the phone and email on this issue and he said that he was going to look into it last year and of course it never git taken care of.

I would call Kenneth again & tell him if this does not get resolved you are going to the media with this. I am sure they will want an explanation of why nothing has been done in a year. Get others on your street to do the same. A strong neighborhood presence always helps. Keep up the pressure.
