Resident sent this picture via email 9/24/18. It show's water standing in the swale. This is where we want the water until the ground has time to absorb the water and return to the earth as clean water. The ground and the vegetation are natural filters for rain water run-off treatment to clean any pollution from the water. J. Barker 9/25/18
Picture sent 9/24/18, it has been raining for the last 48 hours, the ground is still absorbing the water as intended. This is a natural process as described above. J. Barker 9/25/18
We have had a lot of rain in the past 48 hours, the resident can place some grass seed in this area next to the driveway, where the bare spot is. J. Barker
The grass swale at the edge of the driveway is higher than the driveway, causing water to pond on the driveway. This is normally homeowner maintenance by cutting down the edge of the grass at the driveway to allow the water to drain off in a natural area. I will speak with the homeowner as soon as I can. J. Barker
