I have clock cars and service truck going 40 to 65 mph on 160th street. For some it is like 1/4 mile race track. Hit the gas at the stop sign on 42nd and see how fast the reach military st.

They also use Macadam Road between 144th South and Southcenter Boulevard as a racing area. There are a lot of children in the vicinity they could get hurt.

I see speeders here every day for the last 14 years. It is about time for the city to turn 160th St/42nd Ave S into a 4 way stop. There are at least 3 accidents at that intersection in over a decade that I've seen. It is a downhill street, some drivers won't resist the urge to slow down if there are no speeding impediments like a 4- way stop or speed bump. Don't wait until someone gets hurt.

Another accident at 42nd and 160th last week very bad. Not sure if it was due the speed on 160th street from military or sight and speed on 42nd.

This street has always had speeding drivers issue but neither Tukwila nor SeaTac city government had a permanent solution. Sure they will send a police on patrol once in awhile to monitor for speeders but they always conclude that there are no rampant speeding. News for the police: speed drivers do not only drive at the time that you are posted at the street. The permanent solution is to place 4-way stop at the intersections.
