Obviously no good deed goes unpunished. I'm sorry that people are so thoughtless and self centered that they had to take your bin because they did not have a bag with them. I would stop leaving out your cans & bottles for awhile. I would attach a note to my new bin if you get one explaining the inconvenience they have caused you or others by thoughtless actions. Maybe people will get the hint. We live in a me, myself & I culture today.
