I've also complained about this many times in regard to Ellsworth Ave., and the police came out one time to stop cars (apparently they stopped a lot). But it's like this all over the city--totally lawless, speeding and running red lights. Until the police department takes this seriously and sets up regular traffic patrols, it's never going to change. Drivers need to find out that if the speed, they may get stopped and fined. But as it is now, everyone knows they'll never get stopped. All the speed bumps and traffic circles will not stop this because they'll just speed on other streets. We need ubiquitous traffic patrols, and speed traps, and video cameras at intersections, and the city needs to get serious and fund this.
