Just address the 30th ave N flooding from 13th ave N to south of MLK road. I have asked the Pavers, the project managers and workers. It is the paved road low spots and angles but the asphalt comoany blames somebody else. Common sense water flow is not happening because of the Asphalt job. I told them to put a cement trough and he said we dont live up North. No but use your brain we have an issue since the Bike lanes where added. So stop Calling these tickets duplicates and address the issue. People we need to start calling Mayor office and bothering them until fixed. I dont appreciate standing WATER that soaks me from a CAR driving by while I put a trash can out at my curb. And the big puddle is from the following day just sitting filling the entire BIKE Lane on the south side of 30th ave N by 11th street N.

Water Channel needs to be added crossing the road ways that cause flooding to help guide the water across. City probably has them premade already and can be implemented infront of the red brick road crossing 11th street N and as far as sunset grill area Address that also just by higher asphalt in that to move the water and add a curb or a water channel at the driveway area. I dont need to be an engineer to tell you that! Sorry... just mad that this is not being addressed as an emergency issue.

Before this year and all of the road "improvements" we never had problems. Now for the 4th time this year we have water coming up THROUGH THE FLOOR of our garage. Many people think this can't happen but it has. There is no leak to be found and no pipes of any kind near the areas we are getting puddles of water. We verified there is no water leaking with our plumber. We are near 11th St and 32nd Ave N

The Engineering Department is aware of the problem and has been working on resolution. The new pavement has areas to be corrected to improve drainage flow. Survey work has been performed to identify the problem areas. Repairs are scheduled to begin this week, weather permitting.

Folks, you need to keep this issue open until it is resolved, or a plan of action has been described on this site, or it will just keep popping up all over seeclickfix with multiple issue numbers, nextdoor posts and youtube videos; soon it will be the TBT.

Novel idea - how about using some common sense and doing it correctly the first time.

Nothing has happened and repairs were supposed to be this week. It's dangerous and ridiculous that the paving company has done such a poor job. It's made things way worse than they were before.

The standing water on 30th Ave in front of Sunset grill is terrible. It is a breeding ground for mosquitoes and who knows what else, and people eat there! Every time it rains it adds more and it has nowhere to drain and just sits. The street has always flooded but the standing water is a new issue after the resurfacing. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.STOP SAYING IT IS BEING INVESTIGATED WHEN CLEARLY IT IS NOT!!!!!!!!!

Since my ticket was archived months ago and never resolved I am complaining again about the flooding outside of 1108 & 1100 30th ave N that we never ever had flooding like this nor the standing quantity of water. I have seen sunny days come and go and not one person is fixing this but yet every night they go to MLK. We are not waiting til MLK is done for this to be fixed.

https://youtu.be/ilIWEQ_QIO8 Now October 15. A month has passed, the puddle at the Sunset Inn has been addressed... and no action elsewhere. Contractor appears to have demobilized. Where is the accountability?? We did not have this degree of drainage problems before the paving.

Still an issue of flooding on 30th ave N from MLK until 16th street N and standing water in a most of the bike lanes on north and south sides of 30th ave N however the flooding is bad and only got worse after they paved.

There are storm drains, but the problem is when the city redid 30 Ave,, someone did not know how to use a transit. So instead of the road being high between the drain culverts so the water could flow towards them, they screwed up and made the road low between the drain culverts which causes the water to not drain away and pool. That's what you get when you farm out the job to the lowest bidder and the city supervisors and inspectors thought water flowed up hill.

So much for living in a flood free zone! everything changed when they redid 30th Ave and that crazy bike lane on MLK Street that has cause so much backed up traffic!
