How about not trying to turn left from Beaconsfield onto 9 Mile! It is not a safe turn and should be a right turn only from both directions. Try another route! People who live nearby know to take a different road. Please! The last thing we need is MORE lights! We need smarter drivers!

Ummm...nowhere in my post did I indicate that I am trying to turn left off of (south) Beaconsfield! I am trying to turn right to travel east on 9 Mile to Harper!

Also, I DO live right there and the traffic light that used to be in front of the bank was timed at the same time as the light at the corner of 9 Mile and Beaconsfield!

By the way, I am a smart driver and I can read...there is a "No Left Turn" sign on Beaconsfield!

Pick one. Either get off I-94 at 9 mile, go west on 9 Mile--oops, no place to turn left (south) unless you illegally turn left into a store's parking lot or go a mile up to Kelly and do a Michigan turn to get on eastbound 9 Mile.
OR Get off I-94 onto 8 Mile, go west about a mile, turn north onto Beachonsfield, head up towards 9 Mile for about another mile. Either Way, 2 miles worth of gas and pollution just to get home. But it's OK, there is a Speedway on the corner. Just don't turn left out of their facility.

Call the police department 586-445-5100 and ask to speak to William Lauth, he is the traffic safety officer.

Just drive an old beater like me. Then, just stick your front end out and most of the rude people would rather let you out instead of scratching their new car. You have to bogart your way around nowadays because people just think about themselves and their precious lives.
