Please also contact the PWD call center for all hazardous or dangerous issues. These epidemic needles are an extreme public heath and safety issue to people, pets and wildlife. The fact that our County public heath system and the addicts advocates are passing tens of thousands of these syringes with no mean to retrieve at the tax payers expense is criminal. Many pathogens can survive for weeks in these used syringes.

Wow dead rats are not a good sign. What ever is killing the rats will kill the scavengers that will eat them.

The advocates for these mentally ill hoarding and addicted street people keep threatening laws suits against the city ( taxpayers) over what they deem as these peoples personal property. There also seems to be an unlimited amount of all types of illegal street medications available 24/7 with phone call from there taxpayer funded cell phones. Plus they love all the illegal dumpers more treasures to hoard.

Should we be satisfied with this?

Nope. It needs to be broom swept and as clean as any section of Broadway through downtown. The pile and trash may be back next week, but we pay our taxes too and demand equal quality of service.
