We will be turning on the heat to the building at the start of October. We do not run the heat and the A/C at the same time for a couple of reasons. The first reason is if we did run both the A/C and heat simultaneously we would have a constant struggle maintaining temperature, which could very easily cause the PH levels at the pool to be inconsistent which would be cause for closure. We want to avoid that at all costs. The second reason is we have it set up with the preventative maintenance contractor to turn the A/C on in mid April and the heat in October. We keep these dates fixed due to the fluctuation of temperatures outside. As we are all aware Gallup has an interesting climate, and turning one or the other on to early results in continually have to turn on and shut down units which in turn damages equipment. I will be sure to have the contractors double check the heat in the men's restroom when the changeover does happen. I will report back when the date is given for the changeover. Thank you and have a great day.
