It's strange that DPW chooses to fix pot holes at this intersection several times a year every year but can't get around to fixing this correctly once!

This area is on our list for mill and paving repairs. Unfortunately, we are not able to address all deficiencies with the proper repair at the proper time throughout Town. Patching of potholes is done weekly and is very low cost but temporary repair until we can schedule proper repairs. This intersection needs to be milled out and fully repaved, which takes 20-30 man-hours, police details and several tons of asphalt. It is simply a matter of prioritization.

Any idea when this intersection will come up for proper repairs? 2019? Longer? thx.

I talked to my Highway Super and they have milling work to do this week and will add it in and follow up with paving. There may be a few days in between.

There are some spots on Mansfield that needed to be done also.
