Description

Almost two new accidents ( one with a police patrol car) at this intersection this past week along. Traffic flow is no regulated with blind spots. There are no speed signs either. A STOP Sign is the only way to control this traffic concern due to the danger at this intersection of Lake Charles and Tollwood Drive.

Thanks for contacting us. An All-Way Stop Sign study is currently being reviewed by our City Traffic Engineer, Scott Brunner for the intersection of Lake Charles Dr at Tollwood Dr. You can call him if you like at 770-641-3773. We will add a 35 MPH Speed Limit sign today just off Pine Grove Rd.

Hello, I have not seen any speed limit signs installed . I also noticed that the re-paving of Lake charles may start soon, this would be the time to install the stop sign and ground markings also. Thank you

The repaving work is almost complete, no resolution on this stop sign as of yet. Traffic pattern and control in this intersection is unacceptable as it stands now on Lake Charles.

Our City Traffic Engineer and Staff just reached a decision. We will notify the public in the field starting tomorrow and actually install the signs on Wednesday 10/10/2018 making Lake Charles Dr at Tollwood Dr a full stop- controlled intersection.
