Description
The city of Mentor spent all this money putting up two signs that let you know a train is coming so you can take a different route. Great, love it. However, after a certain time at night the sign is no longer functioning. This happens to me almost every other day. Case in point happend to me yesterday at 1 am. Passed sign no indication train was there, once I rounded corner near muni center gates and lights start going down. Why have this sign if it is not going to be functioning at ALL times? Please fix this! I understand I could just go the other route everytime but that really isn't the point, and I shouldn't have to because some signs are no longer functioning because it is a certain time. This may only be a nuisance to a small amount of people but I would appreciate if this sign got fixed. Thanks!

There in lies the issue. The signs are activated the same time the gates and lights are activated. Actually, I think the signs are activated by the gates themselves. So, the signs won't display anything until the gates come down. Sounds like poor timing. Same thing has happened to me although not that late at night.
