Description
I literally cannot see a THING in the intersection of 8th Ave N and 23rd Street because the trees are soooooooooo overgrown in the yard at the SW corner of the intersection that the entire intersection is blocked. Also... the alley behind their property is completely overgrown and unkempt. Makes driving thru the alley nearly impossible. If City of St Pete is going to hit me with unrealistic fines and code violations, then I'm going to call out every single violation I see on other people's property to create a community of equity.

Hmm, I drove through that intersection about 2 hours ago and couldn’t find any trees like what you’ve described. To be completely thorough, I decided to approach the intersection from all 4 directions - still no major obstacles. Stating that “the entire intersection is blocked” is not only an over exaggeration, it’s wildly untrue.
Now let’s unpack the remainder of your “report.” You claim to be upset with the City of Saint Petersburg for “unrealistic fines and code violations.” Ok, could be an understandable reason to be upset. Here’s where you lost me... You plan to actively seek out and report violations on other people’s property “to create a community of equity.” I’m sorry, but the only thing you’ll be creating is a misguided and completely unnecessary temper tantrum.
I sincerely hope you find a resolution for your issue with the City of Saint Petersburg. In the meantime, please don’t use this platform to harass our neighborhood. Legitimate problems take longer to resolve when the city is out looking imaginary trees to cut back.
