There used to be a tree there. I thought that trees removed were replaced. Is this not the case?

Department of Public Services assigned this issue to DPS Assistant Director

Thank you for your tree planting request. This location will be considered by Salem's Tree Warden for the Department's next tree installation season. Generally, planting efforts happen in the spring and the fall seasons. Budgetary restrictions or poor locations may inhibit the Department from fulfilling a request.

Parking on the sidewalk is illegal and should be reported to the police. Also, parking is prohibited on the odd side of Green St, so again I suggest calling the police when the vehicle is there. I would also get a picture of the vehicle's license plate, while parked on the sidewalk and the wrong side of the street! That would help the police track down the offender(s).
