Description
This sight i have reported at least a dozen times in the past year! It started with mounds of garbage dumped over the wall and homeless people moving in and out. This went on for months before the city acted upon the numerous reporting s before they did anything. Once thsy cleaned it up the owner of the property installed gates to the lot. This stopped the illegal dumping. This current trash, litter filth has come from the homeless encampment that i have reported for the last three months! I totally blame the COV for this blight! They dont act quick enough, they dont hold the property owners responsible and in my opinion, things like this, the city just doesnt really care any more, and it SHOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This town has become BUMSVILLE USA with no cure insight! How depressing!

Please, show these bums the door and clean up this property.
Surely there must be a process for the city to seize a property if multiple warnings to clean it up have been repeatedly ignored resulting in a complete sanitation crisis and blight.

The fence is repaired the homeless are at another location close by.
We can’t expect a fine leaf raking of everything and a water cannon dousing of the homeless so they get the message to leave town for a more liberal location then This.
Had a look today and it’s a improvement Keith and crew did a satisfactory job.
Kevin and crew are exposed to Bio Hazard and Sharps and doing the best they can.

Oakland city provides Porta Johns and has them serviced, so you don’t have extreme biohazard’s across the sidewalk and in alleys. They don’t let them settle in next to a residence where someone who does care about their surroundings lives, and pays to live there, that way you don’t have peoples fences catching fire, or worse the whole structure burns down.
So yes all of that cost money, but you save some on the other end by not constantly cleaning it up in the fashion that Vallejo has.. Letting things go untill it’s just ridiculous and then claiming there’s not enough resources to deal with it.
The money still get spent but in a different way that actually might do some good for the residence and not completely alienate the homeless. I feel for their situation, and would like to “live and let live” but that’s not what’s happening. Being homeless is not illegal, but most of the side effects and behavior are.

Time to throw these bums out of town, when election tine comes, vote for people who care about and want to clean up this town and bring new business back into this amazing city that has so much potential that has been squandered for years.
We need to petition for a Sit/Lie ordinance in Vallejo, enforce vagrancy and anti-camping laws.
When was the last time a bum was cited $1000 for littering or dumping? What about indecent exposure?
Why should we continue to put up with this filth in our city?

But laws are lax and not enforced as many would like.
They are not enforced because of the mindset of elected officials.
Just look at other states - city’s in this county that are ruled by like minded people crime- homelessness economic hardship- hard drug abuse- lax law enforcement just like Vallejo.
Vote the status quo out in November
Again I do agree with you William
