I emphatically agree that something should be done to address this continuing problem. There are more shelters and services in the Central Square area than the entire rest of the city combined, so there's no excuse for this.

It will only get worse as it gets colder. something needs to be done. you can not shop in Central Sq. with out being followed, for a hand out, or hit on. This area is littered with trash, needles, and nip bottles. Time to clean up Central Square, and find a place for these people to go. They hang around all day drinking and urinating in public, shooting up, or passed out on front steps, and in the parks. They are all waiting for the new MLK park behind to Library to be finished, so they can bother and rob the seniors, that live there. Let's nip it in the bud now, we need more police on foot, and bikes , and not just once in a while. the police ask them to leave, but they come back in 20 minutes, and the cycle starts again. Thank You
