This property was approved for demolition in April 2016. The foreign owners do not maintain the property. It was fire damaged sin 2013, still full of debris and black mold. The structure is not fully secured. Must be DEMO'D. Blight tickets do not resolve these issues. As a next door neighbor, I have cut the front lawn and shoveled the snow for 5 years. Recently the overgrown trees in the back yard took down my power line. Remediation requested.

I recommend a nuisance suit against the owner to force demolition. The house is listed by demolition by BSE but it is privately owned. Not sure if the present owner who purchased the house in 2014 was aware of the fire damage and debris when they purchased it. Multiple calls to BSE and Detroit City Council over the past two years have proven ineffective.
